Once upon a time, a bunch of spotty teenagers devised a very bizarre game. They were crazy, they were proud and especially candide, and they named this boredom free creation "Le Tournoi des Heros". (Yes, as you see, it was even worse, they were frogs ! It could be translated as "Heroes tournament").
After numerous long months spent into a moist dark room, eating pizzas and bland cakes, our blokes decided it was time to share their extraodinary invention with the rest of the World. The electricity fairy made this miracle happen.
Our fearless freaks were far from understanding that this decision will make them dive into the abyss of pain and loneliness for several months. All the more so since they had a blood-addict cat. Thousands litres of Fruit juice would be required so as to face technological hardships, artistic dead ends and other endless brainstormings. But what could have happened ? HAve you ever tried to tell a deaf he is taking a dangerous path ? He would never hear you !
Never mind ! Because of determination, pathetic successes and some drops of creative sense, tournoidesheros.com was born in fall 2003. Quickly, new heroes arrived thanks to word of mouth influence, which just made their modest server blow up. Our 4 web knights had to increase their quality level. They were getting used to suicidal projects.
Now self confident, they couldn't stop creating new add-ons and new games options. In 2005, more than 3000 players had entered the tournament so far, new members had joined the Fede group, and even worse: Several other games were under development.
The association which was born under the new players pressure shew its limits, and it was time for embezzling money and blackmailing.
And that's how, in our psychotic and modern world, four mischievous friends achieved a project which had been firstly seen as a UFO whose goal is to "produce and distribute games and interactive items on the internet". The kind of thing which makes you cry... but maybe not of sadness...
And it was just the beginning....
